Saturday 17th November 2018 will be remembered as the night that Kierah earnt herself a career first Microsprint podium at Round One of the Isaacs Memorial!

It wasn’t an easy night for Kierah, having two DNF’s the first in of them was in Heat 1 after drawing pole position which wasn’t the ideal start, after greeting the Green light entering the first corner the car just came to a halt. Upon returning to the pits, the culprit was a fuelled up plug.

Heat Two was much better coming from 6th to 4th.

Heat Three was another adventure to the infield with the chain coming off.

With the two DNF’s Kierah was due to start off the back of the field however, Thanks to Ernie who was the top point-scorer of the night he drew rear of field starting board, which then put Kierah off pole for the Feature race.

Kierah didn’t get off the line as quickly as she would of liked to dropping back into third place, a few laps in the yellows come out due to Paul seizing his engine, the team hope’s he can get that sorted and back on track asap.

At the restart Kierah continued in Third position towards the latter start of the feature she was on the tail of the #A1 to have a lunge for second place but she just couldn’t quite get the run needed to get the job done.

As the Chequers waved Kierah said “It was such a great feeling to know that I was able to pick up my career first podium in the Microsprint division. I am proud to be apart of this division, it is a family orientated club with a great bunch of Drivers and Members who are only more then happy to help out with advice whenever it is needed”
